Tiger gaming and all its sister site annouced today that they will no longer except US players. I am disgusted with this subject. These sites are crappy in my opinion but the more we lose the less options we have! Here is the e-mail I received.

As a regular online poker player, you have no doubt heard about the ridiculous legislation passed by the Republican Congress attempting to block your free access to online gaming sites.

As of Friday October 13, 2006, we have been forced to not accept poker players from the US, solely because of the position of our software provider, Action Poker. We are currently working hard to resolve this and should have US players back online at Superior Poker soon.

Here are our reasons for finding a solution and staying in the US market:

The new U.S. legislation DOES NOT in any way criminalize the act of playing online poker. By playing online at Superior Poker, you are not breaking any U.S. Federal laws.

In no way will this law affect the day-to-day operations at Superior Poker. We will be business as usual, offering the best ring games and tournaments possible.

We are committed to providing you with all of the most secure methods for transferring money to and from Superior Poker. We will continuously monitor the industry for new, easy and secure ways for you to fund your poker accounts.

Lastly, we believe that playing online poker is an entertainment choice that should not be legislated by moral crusaders in any legislative body. It is your right as an American to choose how to spend your entertainment time. We encourage US citizens to let your voice be heard by voting in the elections on November 7th 2006. Help pick a government that shares your right to freedom of choice.
