liked the last part the best! "and if you really have nothing to do, call him at his office" ROFL

I am disgusted with the legislation. I am more disgusted about how it was passed, attached to a bill that could not be vetoed. I don't know if Bush would have vetoed it if it had been stand alone.
But I am more disgusted by the Bush haters who following the cut and runners are using this as an issue.
I simply do not understand how so many seemingly intelligent people can think that if we return to only threats and appeasement as was done by the previous administration towards the Islamic terrorists we will be better off.
What is not clear when Islamic terrorists say they want to kill us if we don't believe as they do? They escalated their terror tactics on a regular basis as we did nothing, cumulating with an attack on American soil that killed more of our citizens than any other attack in our history. Only when we went after them, did they stop attacks on innocent Americans. And yet even now I hear Bush haters saying they exist and are multiplying because we are in Iraq. That all happened before we went into Iraq.
Regardless of what you think about Bush, he is the only one that had enough courage to say we must do something. When France and Germany were well paid by Iraq to veto any punitive measures for breaking the treaties they signed at the end of the Gulf War, the 23 resolutions that the UN proclaimed, and not allowing weapon inspectors to inspect as agreed, Bush had enough courage to do what had to be done. At that time, every one of the liberal leaders, and even Kerry the presidential candidate, agreed that Iraq was a BIG threat and had WMD. They now accuse Bush of lying. Were they lying too, or are they lying about it now?
As I said, I just don't understand it! But something I do understand, if the cut and runners get in office there will be a safe haven for the people dedicated to killing every last one of us and will continue until they get it done or they are stopped and appeasing them will do no more good than it did to stop the 3rd Reich.
If nothing else, Iraq has become a magnet for the religious fanatics that are willing to load a car with explosives and set it off with them in it, killing scores of others who share their religion, but not their fanaticism. My heart aches for each and every one of our young people who are being maimed and killed in both Iraq and Afghanistan. But better we fight them with our people who can fight, than have our defenseless citizens and children killed here in the United States.
For that reason, you must vote GOP even if you and I are angry about this stupid on-line gambling law. We must continue the pressure on the Islamic terrorists in their area rather than in the United States of America.
Having to have a bank account in a foreign country with a debit card I can use here is much preferable to worrying about in which restaurant or mall my 4 year old grandson will die.

think of this if anutter follows you in the street stabbing you in the ass with a pin you will shout at him. If he kicks you in the balls you will turn round amd beat the crap out of him.
if you attack a superpower they WILL send bombers and drop bombs down your chimmley. they will put you in a POW camp untill war over they will chase you down and kill you.
Hindsight is wonderfull some say the war in Iraq is wrong but not at the time it wasent.

1st pirannha.....I don't understand it fully either. It seems like it's in the best interest of the United States and our allies to have an Iraq that's not a haven and breeding ground for terrorists. An Iraq that's not mired in a civil war that threatens the entire region. An Iraq where the militias on both sides are not fighting because they're scared of retribution from some strong central goverment. An Iraq where our brave soldiers do not die or get mamed being caught in the middle. What Iraq needs is an end to this civil war, and that's going to take, in that society, some strong leader who instills fear. Probably would have been best if we left Saddam in power. All these things would be done.....and our brave soldiers wouldn't be caught in the middle of this self-imposed mess that Cheney and the neocons have foisted upon the American people with the childlike help of a sincere but horribly incompetent President.
