Harrah's Acquires Majority Position in London Clubs International

Recently, Harrah's announced it had successfully acquired, or received acceptance of, almost 83% of London Clubs International's ordinary shares and expects to control 100% by the end of the year.

It's interesting that Harrah's is expanding it's giant status. Although they retracted their bid for a license in Singapore, it wasn't because they changed their minds but, rather because they found out early on that they weren't going to be able to attain a license there as they were issued to other competitors. Let's just hope that Harrah's can make their employees happier than they are here in Vegas. With the exception of Caesar's Palace, a lot of the employees I know at various Harrah's properties are trying to get into other jobs where they're appreciated at least a little more than they are now.
