Hi,
recently I opened an account with PokerRoom.com, and used my creditcard to deposit some money. Subsequently, they don't allow me to play. The reason they give is that I have logged in from a country different from the country I mentioned on the online registration form. That in itself is correct: I was travelling when I logged in.
The nasty thing is that they also refuse to restitute my money on my credit card. This despite a lengthy e-mail exchange.
Am I the only one with this problem, or is PokerRoom.com generally recognised as an unreliable pokersite? If so, could I have known that in advance?
Any advise on what to do now? (I have contacted my creditcard company, but doubt whether they can undo the payment.)
Thanks.

Just submit refund request with your CC company, say that you have not used your card and they will charge back your deposit

I have been playing there for a couple of months and haven't had any problems. Will they let you cash out that money in another way ( i.e Netteller ).
Let me know how it goes, as i have most of my money with them. I must say that the only time i thought that something had gone wrong (in fact it hadn't it was just a weird caching issue) they replied with emails resonable quickly, i think it was the next day.
Have you tried ringing them they have toll free numbers for certain countries, you can ask the support for them in the live chat on the site.
