PokerStars Bonus

I search several places within this forum regarding the $25 Pokerstars when signing up via Pokernews and have found that there a a few players that have not gotten thier bonus although they followed the directions on this site. I also signed up with PokerStars via Pokernews (followed the link and used code) but have yet to recieve the $25 bonus after getting the necessary 100 FPP's weeks ago. Sent several emails to PokerNews and PokerStars and although I have recieved polite responses that they were looking into it still no confirmation. Based on the number of individuals on this site with the same complaint I'm not confident in getting a postive response.

Since this may be a software problem (giving them the benefit of doubt that it is not intentional) my recommendation would be that some confirmation number be given to a player upon signing up through your site so that actual proof could be shown.

Hi there,

You can contact me concerning this matter, but only if you really, really fulfilled ALL the requirements (which are: sign up to PokerStars through our special PokerNews links, use the bonus code FirstSep2006 while registering and and get 100 FPP points) by e-mail:

freerolls@pokernews.com

. Those who did not fulfill at least one of those requirements do not bother, because i will crosscheck with Pokerstars, and you will not get the bonus anyway.

Please include your nickname in Pokerstars in your email and the date of the deposit made.

All of your requests are sent to Pokerstars and them they deal with it as fast as they can, it is out of my hands.

It took a couple of emails to pokerstars, but I did get my $25, and DID play on Sunday
I did not get to play in the Dec. $2500 freeroll, though (I had enough points....just did not see it listed)

After several emails I finally did recieve my bonus. Pokerstars mentioned that it takes sometme due to the hand entries required to provide bonus. Was not able to get entry into the big tournamnet though even though I recieve an email saying that I qualified and that I had the ticket. wWhenever I went into the tourney and checked the box to register for entry it said I had no ticket. Wasn't all that upset though since they came through with the $25.

i meant that if you follow the requirements fully (they are very clearly stated in the pokerstars review) and if you still won't get the $25 bonus, contact me by this email, and i will contact the authorities of pokerstars to look into your case.

I am another one who never received my $25 bonus after reaching 100fpp. And yes I signed up correctly through pokernews. So if you are signing up through here for that bonus you might want to rethink it.

Pokernews says:

"Bonus will be credited next business day after reaching 100 FPPs"

That did not happen in my case and I haven't been informed of when I might expect this to be taken care of. I wonder how many just give up and move on because it's not worth the hassle of pursuing? Kind of like those rebates where you have to dot the i and cross the t in a special way. They count on only having to pay out a small percentage because people will forget, do it incorrectly or they just drag their feet in giving up the bonus. Maybe if you send 10 emails complaining you receive it but if you only send 5 they just ignore you.

Ok thats my rant...buyer beware of the pokernews bonus.

It is not nonsense. This is my experience.

If I receive my bonus I will come back here and let you know and then you can say that 100% of people receive their bonuses. Right now from my direct experience it is only 99%.

Do I get the Pokernews $25 bonus if my first deposit is less than $50, say $30?

I'm asking because the general PokerStars bonus allows for smaller deposits, for example you can deposit $30 and after you've earned 300 FPPs you get a $30 bonus.

I said I'd report back when I got my bonus which I finally did today. I do think the problem was with stars and the fact that they type in bonuses by hand???

I'm not sure if my experience is unusual but if you don't get your bonus be sure and speak up. squeaky wheel gets the grease.

thats all.

Well I never did get my $25. It took so long to get anywhere with it I just gave up. I haven't had any issues joining the monthly tournaments though so that's cool with me.

Support always answers all the emails! If you did not receive the bonus that means:
1. You did not download the pokerstars software through our links;
2. You did not put in our bonus code while registering;
3. You did not earn 100FPP as it is required;
4. You have earned 100 FPP, but you are too eager to get it nevertheless it takes up to 72 hours to grant the bonus;

If you would have done all of that the bonus would have been in your account. If you did all of it, contact me on freerolls@pokernews.com and i will help you.

nope you did not miss anything, your bonus will be there in like 24-48 hours after you reach 100FPP. If not, you write me an email on freerolls@pokernews.com.
