Just started playing at celebpoker and this is the most rigged site Ive ever played. Don't get me wrong Im not bitter cos of bad beats, or losing money, Im actually up a fair bit. What annoys me is how blatently the cards are set up and not random. Every third hand needs only one card to make a straight (inside, sometimes open) and Ive had 4 or 5 four of a kinds in 2 days - thats more than Ive had playing for about 18 months on other sites!

Also I will get a streak of unbelievable cards and luck then it changes to unbelievable bad luck, not just bad beats but FH beaten by 4 of a kind, straight beaten by flush etc. but staying consistent. My good luck streaks are the other way round tho... You might think "thats poker" but it doesnt occur that every so often Ill get a nice hand or a bad beat, its always in long streaks.

The reason I havent just taken my money and left is the players there are the worst ive eevr seen... just have to grit and bare the bad beats etc.. also learned to play the site, not just the cards or other players... I can usually predict what cards are coming after the flop is down!!!

Hi!
A few posts below is my post asking about Pacific Poker.
You see, it's ridiculous making points like you here and me there.
I know: it feels like the cards are set up, because the site offers bad beat and royal bonuses. I've seen full house beating my straight recently in tournament at one other site and my two pair beaten by some other monster on lucky river - and yes, that's poker.
On Pacific I started wondering after I got spade royal flush (I had QsTs, flopped AsJsx, and then Ks came either on turn or on river) - I won hole three BB with this and by the way, I'm in the middle of a losing streak there.
And there are always problems with the software here. So it appeared to me like they were in a way advertising their bonuses (there is additional rake for those and the percentages are set up in a way that 'casino wins')
But after I cooled down a little bit, I no longer care. That's absurd notion. They would have to, in the end, set it up in a way that reflects the luck, which evens out (it could be possible, but extremally hard - they'd have to solve multiple equations in real time for each and every player - only theoretically possible)
So well, you're runing good on the site - beware. Fortune is a... lady

The odd thing about celeb poker is the number of times by the river there is a 4 card straight (ie only need one card to make a straight). Since I noticed it, I really cannot believe the cards are not setup. It is realistically 1 in 3 times that it goes to the river this happens. I have also had about 4 four of a kind in 2 days, that is very unlikely.... Also had a royal flush on the board!!! Ive played online poker for almost 2 years and have often wondered if the cards were setup.... celeb poker leaves me no doubt that at least some of them are....

As for how difficult it would be to set luck, each person could have a luck factor (say between 0-1) and this changes depending on how much they win. So a person with a high luck factor is more likely to win than someone with low luck factor. This would keep the game much more even.
