Harrah's Hospitality at WSOP (-)

Benny Binion must be rolling in his grave and I would love to hear Jack Binion's gut feeling! $500 - $50,000 buy in and we get a coupon for the restaurants I remember when the Binion's bought the Mint, they served caviar, prime rib, every over the top thing you could think of and was happy because we felt special. I do understand in those days there were only 200+ players in the main event. Jack also asked you to bring your family the folks at Harrah's almost snicker and I'm an old timer. $5000+/- tournament and we get a coupon to eat…

I talked to a few of the World Champions and bracelet winners, none of them said Harrah's has done anything more than what everyone else received. I have not had the privilege to win a bracelet but you would think if I had decades of playing and winning in these tournaments there would be some prestige from Harrah's. Does MLB or the NFL treat the Hall of Fame players that built their sport that way, of course not. Harrah's hasn't even updated the World Champion or Hall of Fame Photos or data!!!

I'm starting to think Harrah's is taking the sport out of it I feel like we are in a cattle drive. What happened to the good old days? Is it like that movie Casino said the corporations are taking over and they don't care anymore? Would the staff at the WSOP be able to recognize the world chamions or put names to faces with the World Champions?
