Ladbrokes Cruise Freeroll - please respond china black.

Hello,
I signed up for Labrokes via the PNews links. The PNews pages did not mention any sign up code so when registering at Ladbrokes seeing there was a space for a promotion code I put POKERNEWS there rather than leave it blank. It took this without error, so I assumed all was OK.

Through playing I have earned the ponts required to be entered in the freeroll but I have not been. I emailed ladbrokes support but to be honest they seemed clueless and seemed to think I was talking about a password protected tourney and directed me to pokernews. I have emailed PNews and still awaiting a response.

I suspect that maybe I have not been correctly affiliated to pnews so I need this rectified somehow.

I notice china that you have been entered on the freeroll - which is why I mention your nick in the heading. What did you do to sign up - anything different to me? By the way you may remember me from the Oz Millions - I'm Shaun from the UK (the guinness drinker ).

edit: I got your nick the wrong way round doh.

Hi Shaun,

Did you have a good time in Australia? Don't worry about the nickname, everyone online calls me china for some reason, lol.

About Ladbrokes, I signed up last summer. The way I registered was Ladbrokes sent me an e-mail inviting me to the tournament. Also, last year I e-mailed them regarding the tournament and they didn't give me a proper answer.

First, have you completed 100 points? E-mail ladbrokes to confirm who you your referral was.

For future considerations when signing up to poker sites through pokernews if there is no code seen, do not put anything to be safe.

Also, talk to live help on here. I'm sure they can fix it.

I might not even be able to play as I have work, maybe I can take the afternoon off. lol.

Good Luck

Michael

Thanks for the reply Michael . I've now had an email from Ladbrokes replying to my original email re. sign up and they are looking into the referrer issue. Hopefully I will hear from them by tomorrow - if not I will have to contact them again.

As I said originally I don't quite get how pokersites can automatically know a referrer from download links - which is why I thought there were sign up codes used.

I enjoyed it in Oz. I hope to get there again for the Poker Cup and Oz Millions then go on the Ladbrokes Cruise LOL.

Just need some better luck with the cards because everything seems to be going against me since I got back from Oz. If someone has a 2 outer on the river it hits every time. Don't you just get sick of flushes on the river to beat your straight/trips and full houses on the river to beat your flush/trips. Grrrrr.

I'm in the same boat - I signed up through the PokerNews Link, and didn't put anything in the "Promotion Code". I played the 100 raked hands last week.

"Also, talk to live help on here. I'm sure they can fix it. " - How do you get to live help? I can find the "contact us" form, but haven't as yet had a response through that....

On every page of this website scroll down to the bottom right. It will have "Live Support Online".

I can't for the life of me see any 'Live Support Online' on any Pokernews page - just at the bottom it says site map|contact us|private policy|disclaimer.

I am assuming when you say this site you mean literally this site? Or do you mean Ladbrokes (I can only see email support there).

Anyway I have still not been entered, cannot enter myself (says restricted), have not heard a thing from pokernews in reply to my query and have still not heard any more from Ladbrokes - so will be contacting them again.

I earned around 190 points last week so have certainly fulfilled the requirement. The problem to my mind is the way of referral.

we mean this site, although the support should be here 24/7 but you can't avoid things like lunch, toilet, smoke breaks you know
never ever this break should be longer then 1h per day though. So if you are looking for live help and can't see the icon at the bottom of the page (which means support if offline) please come back to us after 10-15mins and I am sure it will be back up.

Doh - how did I miss that? (I must have been looking during a "toilet break" !!) Thanks BlackChina.

I did get a reply from Pokernews to my email yesterday lunchtime, requesting more details (username etc...) so looks promising.

Can see that live support now. It must be that every time I am on this site must be during a breakt. Anyway I emailed both supports again this morning and awaiting response.

Well I contacted pokernews online support last night and (Richie) told me he would mail the Ladbrokes manager and reply to me when he had heard from him.

At this time I have had no further replies and I have not been registered in the freeroll. When I try to register it says it is restricted and I cannot enter. So I think I will also have to contact the freeroll address as well.

To all users, who didn't get into freeroll:

Please do not email freerolls@pokernews.com anymore about this freeroll, because it is too late now to help you. We did everything what we could who inquired earlier.

I got an email back from Ladbrokes saying for some reason I had not been automatically affiliated and they would do that manually. Got another mail saying they had added me manually and I could now enter pokernews promotions.

However I was not automatically added to the freeroll and I still get the same error message when trying to join myself.

Wish I'd never bothered signing up at all now.

Anyway rasucci, (very) nice pic - with a name like Rasa you must be Lithuanian I'm guessing?
