And this coverage is by far superior to last year's coverage. I played last year (unfortunately I wasn't able to make it this year), and family and friends would have greatly appreciated coverage like this. Also, Harrah's will be offering final table coverage on pay-per-view. But I will give the standard warning, watching a live tournament is not like watching the edited for TV tournaments. It can be like watching paint dry. There isn't action on every hand like on TV.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

Honestly I find both the major sites covering the WSOP to be lacking in their coverage. Pokernews is better by far, but still a lot of deserving people did not get coverage at all. I have a friend that finished in the 140's in the main event and was not mentioned ONE TIME in 4 days of coverage and he was near the chip lead after day 1D. I have seen people with a lot less credential get coverage, but I guess my friend didnt kiss enough butt or beg to be covered. Thats my complaint with both major places covering it. Its funny that a guy with 1 lifetime tournament cash got more WSOP coverage than a man with 750k in lifetime earnings, 2 WSOP final tables, and about a dozen tournament wins in his career.
Oh well, I guess my friend will have to let his play do the talking. Eventually ones play will get one noticed whether the media wants to report on them or not...just ask Chip Reese.
