Hi all! I am Davis Gine, and writing an article about poker for a scientific journal.
I am looking for citations from real pokers players to put in my article, so if yours is choosen it will feature in the article. I have 2 questions for the moment, and they are opne questions, so feel free to speak out:
1) I would like you to describe me the feeling you get when you play poker, what it really does to you physically and mentally, why and how you enjoy the game?
2) What are the skills you need to be a good poker player.

1) ... Sorry no time for that story
2) Patience, know your own skills, never pick a game you can't win. Those are just a few I could think of now

Nr 1: Winning feels good offcourse, and losing motivates you to win. And its an awesome game for playing with friends and family for fun or with money. Well you can piss off ur m8's when they get beated hard
Nr 2: A good pokerplayer calculates pot odds, observe their opponents, so they can quess their hands. Also they need to know the poker terms offcourse. Good pokerplayers know how to play a winning hand, and knows what hand will possibly worth to play with.
Im not a proffesional pokerplayer myself, so i cant guarantee that this onformation is correct. Any use of it un your article is at own risk
