What happened to yesterdays freeroll?
The entry jumped from 50 odd to something like 2700 just before the off....
I logged in, quite literally, seconds after the start and was unable to get to my table - it wouldn't even let me get to the lobby....

Have to say, it's absolutely awful software - slow and full of bugs. There's no liquidity - you cant even get enough people to play a play money table going to understand the concept (I got going in 1, with 4 players - so was HU with one other at my table - he was a sit out - so I won EVERY single hand, and was still eliminated because my chip count was too low....). The deposit options are severely limited (credit card only), the withdrawal options are worse (Wire transfer only - I dread to think what the bank currency charges will be going away from USD!!!)

I'd love to know which planet the PokerNews rep lives on who gave this 5 stars in the Pokernews review!!! Seems utter nonsense!!

i was reg. for this freeroll.
30min before start there were 54 players.
suddenly 10min before start 29people were kicked out the tournament without any reason.
it was not possibel yo reg. again.
the tourney started with 24 people.

it was awfull to see this happens.
the site is also from such a bad quality that i would give it a -1.

the last few pokernewscupfreerolls a lot went wrong.
i hope pn remarks this and that they will have a look whats wrong.

i know that the responsibility is with the pokerrooms but it is also the name from pokernews.

no idea what was that with a 2000 + players in the lobby.. about players kicking from the tournament: if you close the tournament window - you are kicked from the tournament. I was told that there were duplicate staff present in the lobby and they re-registered as many players as they could. they promised to fix this till next freeroll. anyway, if you are not in the tournament lobby when the tournament starts - you will be kicked, because of the structure of duplicate poker tournaments. everybody has to be present.

I played in the duplicate freeroll and to be honest i didn't have any problems with it. In regards to players being kicked out, it may have had something to do with them not being logged in prior to the tournament starting. I had the software left open and about 40mins or so before the freeroll started the tournament lobby window popped up and started counting down to the start of the tournament.
Also, in regards to the deposit/withdrawal options, the site does mention that they will be adding more soon, and there is no withdrawal fee for a wire transfer.

i was in the lobby but still kicked out of the tournament!
i could come in to the lobby bit the register button didnt work.
i chat in the lobby with someone from duplicate who told me to go out the lobbey and open the lobby again.
also this didnt work.
i was very dissapointed because i am on holiday and canceled diner with my friends.
i know on vacation dont poker but a freeroll from pn i could let go.
so it was very dissapointed to lose and diner and the entrance to the freeroll.
lately a lott goes wrong with the freerolls.(like wingows and pacific)
like i also wrote on the dutch site this is not good for pn.
i know its not pn but the sites, but still pn's name are on the freeroll.
so its not good for pn's name.

In Duplicate Poker we do not permit players to participate in a freeroll if they are not present when it starts. The reason is the distortion of the Duplicate Scoring Methods. You are all invited to participate in the remaining 8 freerolls, please be on time!

i played yesterday.
everything went good.
but i still have to get used to the structure.

I downloaded it from the link here and I cant even see the Pokernews Cup game that is playing on the 12th I made my deposit and everything ??? The one game it did enter me in is a depositors $1200 freeroll with is cool but its not why I loaded it
I have played 2 tounaments there and I agree with much that I have read .... I can only say I hope they fix their software.. But I would still like to know about the CUP game ? is it even going to play ?

I withdrew over four weeks ago and still nothing

I have sent 4 emails no response

if anyone could give me a number to call them from the UK it would be appreciated as i feel the service is a joke and would love a member of duplicate to respond to this thread. I feel the service is a joke and i will be contacting Amex about the money I put in to my account and tried to withdraw, also there is no history of the withdrawal on my account, however after checking it is clear that i have deposited

Hi, it interests to know why in Duplicate poker, freerolls of the cup pokernews figure like "reg.Closed". I downloaded the site from pokernews. If I make the deposit in that room, she lets to me write down to me equal in all freerolls?

I think I'll be answering your question when I say that if you deposit on Duplicate Poker, you will automatically be registered for the pokernews freerolls. Just make sure that you are logged into Duplicate Poker plenty early because if you are late, you will be unregistered and there are no late entries.

I just registered to duplicate poker through your link and I saw on all pokernews cup registration closed. Could somebody tell me what's happen?

You should be automatically registered. Check to make sure your name is on the list. As long as you deposit ($20 minimum), you should be there. Good luck.

Hi all, Just have a question, I have loaded Duplicate poker from the link, but on trying to enter the 5,000 freerolls, it shows all freerolls closed and i am unable to register, Can anyone help?
