25% withheld from tournaments starting in 2008

Rumor in the Bellagio is that the US Government is demanding that U.S. casino(s) will have to withhold 25% from any poker tournament wins over $5,000.00 starting in March of 2008.

As usual, doesn't make sense - what about buy-ins that are more than $ 5,000.00?

Sklansky didn't seem to know much about the new "law". Anyone know more????
