Hi Garry-I very happy I made the journey from Alaska to D.C. Chris Ferguson, Victor Ramdin, John Pappas and I met with Congressman Don Young, who is already a co-sponsor of both the Frank and Wexler bills. He confirmed his support and agreed to discuss them with Sen. Murkowski and Stevens. I also met with Sen. Murkowski, her Chief of Staff and assistant, and Sen. Steven's Chief of Staff, George Lowe. Our meetings were very productive. I found that there is a lot of misconception regarding the proposed bills. We provided facts that support the bills and the PPA's goals and received positive responses. I feel that the conference was affective and very successful. I encourage poker players to support the PPA and get involved. If you want more info, drop me an e-mail. I also got some good pictures. Take care. Dixie
