OK!!!...I lied!!!...But as long as you're reading this, maybe you could help me out!...I played the PokerNews/South African Open freeroll at Duplicate Poker on October 28th...AND WON!!! That's the good news!
The unsettling news is that as of this evening, 8 days and counting later, I have as yet NOT received any acknowledgement from either PokerNews or Duplicate Poker, by email or phone. Several live chat conversations here, and phone inquiries at Duplicate Poker haven't produced any results either.
So, I guess if imma gonna play there, I should start swimming now? lol Waters a little nippy here in Maine!

Good thing is you won your seat early and have some time to get things straightened out.
Congrats and good luck

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

that start swimming idea was quite nice, maybe you would catch few world records on the way and make even more money out of it, think about that

Progress is slow! I did get the $1500 for travel transfered into my duplicate account on the 6th, (but I need to pay taxes!!...USA legal site...recognized as a game of skill), but as yet no email from PokerNews as to registration, events, and the what's happening info at the SA Poker Open. The Duplicate site only sends checks, too. And they take a minimum of 21 days to do that. This may be a significant problem for anyone who wins the late qualifying trnys there. I know I would have aneasier time with booking flights, etc, if I had access to the cash now.
