With a South African PokerNews Cup freeroll coming up on Duplicate Poker, I thought I'd post some thoughts.
1-These freerolls are excellent values. Where else can you play for a $7,500 package for simply depositing a playing a couple of tourneys?? Once you deposit, you only need to meet the points requirements (which are VERY small) to play in the next promotion.
2-There are currently 254 players automatically registered but it will surprise me if there are more than 50 that actually log on and play.
3-Without greater turnout, I think that the willingness of these sites to sponsor such freerolls is at stake.
So, if you're qualified, come play. It's a freeroll so you're risking nothing with possible $7,500 gains. That's infinite pot odds.
If you're not qualified, give Duplicate Poker a try. Minimum deposit and give it a shot.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

Well, I was wrong. There were 267 qualified players and 58 played. I was eliminated when I didn't go all in with Qc2c preflop. Congrats to whoever won. Good luck in South Africa.
