Titan Poker customer service.

Hi, I just would like you guys to hear my insatisfaction story towards the Titan Poker site. I've downloaded the software an installed it.

After I've created my account, a representative immediately open a chat with me and welcomed me then explained to be the bonuses etc. She said that for each 100 points I would earn, I would get 5$. I made a 100$ deposit and since it's a 100% bonus, I could get 100$ free thats nice right?

I make the deposit, I start playing and I earn 1750 points.
Next thursday I receive a mail from them saying I will get 1$ for every 50 points earned. I'm saying to myself, bah it's a mistake I'll contact them.

They say: no it's 1$ for each 50 points. I was smart enough to take a screen shot of the representative saying it was 5$ per 100 pts. Even after providing this proof, they still said there was no arrangement possible so I've decided to close the account only after one week of playing.

I feel like i've been trapped by them and I wouldn't recommend this site to anybody since they have rigid customer service pattern and they won't be flexible by any way even if they are the one who made the mistake.

I can understand your frustration. It stinks when a site won't live up to a promise made by one of their employees. However, you have to realize the sites position. Here is the outline of their bonus as stated here on PokerNews.

Titan Poker bonus code: POKERNEWS
Make a first deposit of $50 or more and get $50 FREE in your account! (It will take 24-72 hours for your $50 to be credited and you need to earn 50 Titan Poker Points for every dollar of bonus money to withdraw).

PokerNews players can also get a special 100% up to $500 first deposit bonus. For every 600 Titan Poker Points you earn, $5 of your bonus money will be released. Players have three months to clear the bonus.

Again, I understand your frustration but with a stated policy, the site is going to stand by the policy. I know a representative told you different but a site can't be held liable for a misquoted policy by one of their reps. Think what if the rep had told you that they would give you $5 for every point. It wouldn't happen. I know I'm being dramatic in the example, but the site will usually stick by its policy. This of course is the site's policy and PokerNews has absolutely no control over any of the site's policies.

Again, I'm sorry about your bad experience.
