ODD NUMBERS ON POKER TRACKER

Hey, i have only 4000 hands on my database, but im currently doing really well.
one stat that stuck out to me was i have only gone to showdown 20%.

Is this not extremely low?
What is normal? I thought like 30%
How is this likely to change my results when the numbers even out?

I'll have to look when I get home to get optimal % (currently working) but a low % of showdowns USUALLY means that the table views you as a tight player who is only betting the nuts so they are afraid of a showdown. How will this effect long term results? You won't get paid off on your monster hands as well as you would like but will lose to opponents when they are playing monsters themselves. How to change this? My best advice is to bet bluffs and monsters EXACTLY the same. When your opponent folds on you, show a couple of bluffs. This will stick in the table's head for a long time. Next monster you get, you'll get paid. Once the table realizes that you're back to playing tight, loosen up again and steal a few pots. Poker is all about that flow between playing loose and playing tight to keep your opponents guessing.

If your showdown % is low, it might also mean that you are giving up on pots too quickly when you are holding the better hand.
