I'm sorry folks. I just don't get it. Sure, Ladies Only Events discriminate against men. Senior Events discriminate against youth. But who should really care? These are good events to promote poker as a whole to players that might feel uneasy about playing in a full regular event. As poker grows, we should want to reach MORE players instead of limiting the scope of the game. Poker begets poker. Best live action is during a poker tournament.

As far as discrimination, Little League baseball games discriminate against me just because I'm twice as big and 4 times older. It's not fair. I really think I could do well against 10 year olds.
I agree, I don't get it either. I suppose they don't allow Ladies Night at the local watering hole also. And what about the LPA, are they required to allow men members? That's just wrong.
