Every freeroll (http://www.pokernews.com/freeroll-tournaments/) has its own requirements. Mostly pokernews freerolls require to be affiliate of pokernews (create poker room acc through us), also many require deposit and earn specific amount of points.
With pokerstars tickets it is different - if you are linked to pokernews, you must full fill all other requirements. Specific requirements for pokerstars WSOP freerolls are very simple: you must earn 300 VPP between Day "A" and Day "B" (every freeroll - different days). The TICKET that many of you here want to get, is issued before every tournament AFTER Day "B". if you know you got the 300 VPPs, but you do not have the ticket, please make sure it is already after required period of time.
