This is exactly what TD's need to do to regain control of tournaments. It's sad that the "adults" playing seem to have watched too much "TV poker" and can't seem to control themselves. If this happens a couple of times, maybe it will get their attention.

Completely agree, never seen this happen though. I used to be a very fair but tough TD but never had to do anything as drastic. 15 minute penalty was more than adequate and seemed to calm people

I think this is a first but this kind of penalty carries a lot more wait than a sit out. I personally got a sit out penalty on purpose once. Planned on stepping out for a smoke so I dropped the F-bomb for good measure....not abusively but as a joke. Table got a laugh and I got my nicotine.
