This may be the least apt name for a poker room I have ever encountered. Cities of Gold, in spite of the best efforts of its small staff, is just about the dingiest, least appealing casino and poker room that I have visited...
Ashley,
That is very true review for the property. A little under the weather but the poker room specifics are accurate. The poker staff does the best with what they have and overall it is a fun time in the room. Thanks for a good review. The poker room staff does appreciate what kudos you did give them.
I've been playing in New Mexico since the first poker rooms opened in 1993. I feel the Cities of Gold Poker room - and especially the staff - are not only the best in New Mexico, it's one of the best poker rooms in the Southwest. Staff retention is impressive, with many dealers having 5 or 10 years tenure. Players are friendly as well. Don't let the surroundings fool you, this is a the best New Mexico poker, and I've played them all extensively.
