It's been quite a few years since I played Sandia. But back when I did, they boys in the room talked about a great pot limit omaha game that used to run there back in the day. It would start up on a Thursday night and wouldn't break until Sunday night. It revolved around a retired local banker, who was a sweatheart of a guy - but apparently a relative fish in the game. When he died, the game died with him. It had been over a decade since the game ran when I was there, but the boys in the room still got misty eyed when they talked about "The Banker's Game." Of course I remember Sandia fondly as I had some really nice sessions in the Omaha 8 game

Driving St Louis to Las Vegas, and couldn't make it. Stopped at the Sandia. Ended up staying 2 nights. Nice place, good games, decent staff.
