Complain and Vent Thread

OK folks. Here is the thread to whine, complain, and vent on. Nothing posted here will get you any help with the situation but it gives you a place to whine and complain just for the sake of getting it out of your system.

This can be anything from the morons that won't click the auto-ante on stud games to the "speed demons" that have to drive in the fast lane because they are doing the speed limit.....anybody driving faster than them is a criminal and they're not going to help criminals by staying out of their way.

So come on, what gets you fired up?

decided to use a poker site called Carbon Poker that is promoted on Poker.com because they were offering a 200%bonus using the code pokerdotcom. When I bought in this code was no longer valid and when I contacted Carbon Poker I was told that I could use a different code and possibly, maybe I would get the bonus manually. This required a NEW buy in as it was not possible to use the new code retroactively. Exactly how I was to enter and get the bonus was never revealed to me.

I complained to Poker.com and received a reply from Kris who said he had had ¨stern¨words with them and that I would also receive a little gift from him too. The gift was never received either. I replied thanking him and got no reply so after a few days decided to file a complaint with internet crime center. Kris finally did reply advising me I should have waited...blah blah blah.

He says this is NOT a scam, yet however today, weeks later, despite it being brought to Poker.com´s and Carbon Poker´s attention, they are STILL promoting this invalid code to unsuspecting players.

Clearly Poker.com is in some kind of collusion with Cabon Poker,allowing them to use their name falsely to entice new players with offers of 200% bonuses.

I want my buy in back from Carbon Poker but my request was ignored. They have now just ignored my emails and complaints as has Kris at Poker.com. This disgusts me. The ONLY reason I tried this new site was this bonus offer and because I thought Poker.com promoted legitimate sites.

You are essentially b1tching that you didn't get something for nothing.

As a heads-up to you for the future - for any site offering a 200% bonus, guaranteed you will need to play an obscene amount of poker just to clear said bonus.

I was playing in the $15K Guaranteed last night on Bodog. With 23 players left, I lost connection long enough to time out when I had the winning hand. 2 hands later, I lost connection altogether. There were storms coming through my area. I checked this morning and I finished 17th.

Who knows where I might have finished.....arrrrgggghhh.

After winning $40 at the local casino last night, I went home and decided to play on PS for an hour before going to bed. In 5 hands with sets, I was felted twice for $50. Once set over set, the other, the sucker called my all in with a gutshot after the turn and hit. BS.

God I hate poker.

Playing a Main Event qualifier on Bodog and the 5th hand I get KK. I raise pot, BB pushes, and I call. He turns over JJ. Flops 9, 4, Q, 7, and rivers the 2 outer J. Arrrrrrgh.

Walker Poker buys Wingows Poker and screws players who had accounts with Wingows. They will give you comp points which release your money in increments of $10.00 at 250cp per $1.00. for the money you had in your account. In short if you had $100.00 in an account you would get 25,000 cp which are good for nothing. You can not exchange them or use them for any games what a rip. This is what gives on line rooms such bad names.

Another poker.com 770 lets you put money on there site no problems but try to take it off and see what happens before they will release any money they want me to send them my full identity licence phone bills etc this could be used for identity fraud has anyone else had the same problem

Early May I Played at bodog, I deposited $50 through ewallet, took 5 days to create this ewallet account before i could acctually get my funds on blodog, requested payout check by mail may 15th for 120 then I requested another payout check by mail for 185 on may 18th after about 2 weeks was informed that my payouts were combined, and i would be recieving shortly. Recieed check july 18th for full $305, but check was a international Canadian check, so bank would not cash. They did say they would deposit the check but said i would have to wait til check clears before i can access my funds. Bank said could take up to 60 days to clear, I sure hope not cause that would mean I will have to wait over 4 months 1/3rd of a year to access my funds since my initial request. after telling me 2 weeks in a row that i would get my check by the end of the week, and i never recieved it blodog did give me a private tourney invite, but, still, If american and looking for a fast payout totally avoid recieving a check from these ppl. Ive heard Western Union Services are pretty good through them, if i ever do decide to deposit again here, it would be the only way id be interested in trying, cause having to wait this long to recieve funds makes me want to vomit.

Anybody playing on Stars last night about 12:30 a.m. US pacific time? Did you lose connection?

Was in one of the best tourney's I've played in a long while. Was poised to make the final table and get some bucks that my BR desperately needs. Right after the 3rd break, suddenly, I start disconnecting. I'm 4 hours into this tournament, way past my bed time and I'm 11 of 27 remaining out of about 1500. I'm in and out for about 3 hands and finally, total disconnect. Wasn't my PC, wasn't my Service Provider, I could get to some websites, just not Stars. WTH? I was pissed. Ended up 12th.

The Poker Gods hate me. I am destined to do something else, I know it. I think I'll take up knitting.

I was at the final table for a 300+20 freeroll table after playing 3 rounds to get into it. I had an a lovely AK (offsuited) and the flop was a A, Q, 9 (rainbow). The turn was a Ten Diamonds and just as I was about to bet all my bankroll, the power went out on my computer!

Turns out my housemate forgot to pay the electricity bill... Sigh.... I bought a laptop straight after that...

Been playing $3.25 6-max (turbo)Sng's after work lately and doing fairly well.Winning or taking 2nd in about 50%. I am working a nightshift (12hr)so I play 6-max because they usually run about 35-40 mins, and dont keep me up all morning when I should be sleeping. and I usually play 2 of these.

Then this morning I run into some unbelievable bad luck. Especially against short stacks.

We would be down to 3 or 4 people Blinds 75/150 or higher and some one with 5-8 suited and 600 oddchips goes all-in. I'm sitting with pocket 10's or betterand 3 or 4 times the allin bet in chips. So I call. Someone else may or may not come in as well. Anyway, the flop comes something like 3-6-7 or 5-8-J. Talk about lucky.

Then my chips would just start slipping away. TILT? Maybe. I believe I was correct to play the way I did but just seemed to keep shooting myself in the foot. If I remember correctly, the worst call I made all day was against pocket 4's and I had KJs and no improvement. Every time except the last one mentioned, I did have the best of it going to the flop.This went on for 4 tourney's until I said enough. I went to a $6.50 6-max turbo. I won that one and no real bad beats.

While the example above is not specifically what happen the basics are there.Ijust ran into suckout after suckout.

The short stack may have been correct to move in, but short handed was I equally correct to call? could I have folded? Possibly, but I dont see how.And eventually, when I was short stacked, I still could'nt help my cause.

Maybe it's just the old "Thats Poker" adage at work. But, give a guy a break.

Sitting at 1/2 cash at the Trump Casino in AC, utg sits down for the max 300 and raises to 15 his first hand, I'm in the SB with 92o. 6 people limp in before getting to me, I call and the BB calls. Flop comes off 962 rainbow. We check to the raiser who moves all in for 285 (obvious overpair bet), to his left moves in for 105 and it folds to me where I'm sitting with 325 and move in over the top, BB folds. Original raiser shows QQ, to his left shows AK(donk), turn comes 8, river 6 to give the QQ a better two pair. Total pot worth: $810 minus rake. He ran really fast to catch that 6 then shames my pre flop call getting better than 8-1 on my money. Lame-o.

Sitting again with approx 275 at another 1/2 table and pick up 78h in the BB. Super agro player utg raises to 15 and is called by a very tight player and folds to me and I call(try to make me some draws). Flop runs out 345h. I check and the original raiser checks. The super tight guy throws out 25, I raise to 75 and the raiser is out. The super tight guy ponders for a bit and throws in the 50(I have him on an over pair, JJ with the J of hearts possibly). Turn comes 4 pairing the board. I move all in for the rest of my stack, super tight thinks and says, and I quote "I hope this isnt a bad beat" and calls reluctantly. He flips over 55 for the full house(yuck). I don't know how he doesn't stack off on the flop but it turned out being a genious play by him and me looking like the retard instead of getting sucked out on the turn. At least I still had 1 out going to the river, right?? haha. Total Pot Worth: $550+ Guy then got up and went over to the 2/5 table to most definately donk off all my money to undeserving sharks, lol.
Just as a side note, this guy contemplated 2 different pots whether or not to call someones all in when he held the nuts.

The first one, I am too tight, I would have folded...but, that does suck.
The second one...I probably would have bet harder before the turn, but wouldn't have mattered the guy would have called (as he should have). I would have had to go cool down after losing that one. Not because I got outplayed, but because I hate "luck". LOL Those are some good vents though!

In reference to the guy who played on a new site with a 200 per cent bonus........................its the old story, if an offer seems too good to be true it probably is!!! personally, i play at Mansion Poker, full Tilt and Pokerstars...I dont muck around with the new sites as there is a major trust issue for me...Be smart and play on the big sites. Many benefits to be had.

complain and vent:

I have been trying to stay positive and only dwell on the bad beats I put on others but I suffered 2 beats like the one Phat described above where my second pair gets counterfeited by runners on the turn and river. That is my new way to lose.

Rock: did you need the money for Christmas? If not, WTF?

needed the money to get my bank account out of the red numbers, plus everybody around me told me they expected the dollar to drop even further... They thought the bump upwards was the last stir of the dollar....
