hi badazzchick here better known as kizznask on Bodog , I was sitting anxious awaiting wsop freeroll final at 7pm and 5 players were surely playing a few didnt show up and after several hands five us won. After contacting Bodog as I almost fainted they informed me there was a problem now I have been playing all day w/no problems and i hope that as 5 ofthat did participate and were announce winner that the contract will be honored. As when I get discinnected my money gets disconnected 2. And i chalk it up to alost as thats what it is for me alost and I dont think we should be penalized because they say there was a glitch in that freeroll. I love u guys because its agood forumand it gives us the opportunity we otherwise would not have had. I m just hoping that by the grace of God that as announced winners we have that dream. Cause I was there and anticipating a miracle and it happened

Well, there were more than just 5 winners announced....there were 50. So EVERYBODY in the tourney was listed as getting 1st. $600K in prize money just isn't going to happen. Sorry for the reality.

badazzchick,
All 50 were awarded 12,000 T$, not just 5. SOmebody of course had to be at the top of the list but if you look at the outcome, all got 1st place. WONDER what they are going to do. I hope they honor us all and we meet and compete in Las Vegas. Yeh Baby. Wishful thinking??? We'll see!! Cause i was gonna take all ya'll DOWN!!!!!

I just got off the phone with Bodog. They actually haven't figured out EXACTLY what they are going to do. But the jest of it is they are going to reschedule the tournament. All Tourney dollars are being deducted from each player's account.

PokerNews or Bodog will contact each player. Hopefully within the next 48 hours.

i was won of them in the trny but i didnt even get credited the 12000 monopoly credits... and it said i won too.. so atleast you got a brief second of being credited.. and at the time i was chip leader winning first 2 hands.. so i think i should be joining you in vegas... maybe the 50 of us can share a room.... i won't mind , just let me gooooooo. but on seious note we should get a little t dollars for our troubles...

well im in agreement that we should be compensated. And to think its mothers day and all those hours of playing to get this opportunity all my hopes are dashed. I also am in full agreement something isnt right with this senario. Ive been playn all day and guess what this tourney gets a glitch. Also like someone else iwas involved in a winning hand at Bodog got the old disconnect and i too lost in that tourney but guess what i couldnt do a thing but register for another tourney. Its no consolation to say there was a glitch we need further info cause Im very disappointed and If I have no hopes of achieving this dream why play if there is already a Teamplayer in disguise

Well, I was the "someone else" that was involved in a winning hand last night. My problem was a storm coming through and killing my connection for the rest of the night.

As far as the Teamplayer in disguise comment, I can assure you that there is nothing fishy about this. I'm assuming you mean me being in the tourney. I, just like you, have to win my way in. I do pretty good on Bodog so I was looking forward to the tourney but I've been trying to win a seat unsuccessfully for a few months now.

well i hope this this doesnt get me kicked out of the forum but i was reading all comments and discussing it with my bf and reading out everything that was being said and venting to him and as i was posting my last comment I saw that you were a Moderator and then I had spoken bout disconnects and agreed with u fully and that was because u were so informative about the tourney that I read all your recent posts and it never dawned on me that u had participated in the freeroll and why not Moderator or not it takes skill and luck to win one of these tourneys (I guess) . Then i mention about Teamplayer and you automatically assume I ment you? Why? Because seeing as u were in that tourney and didnt win then u also are stuck. So its not u. Maybe someone who couldnt leave their family at Dinner time(Red Lobster) on Mother's Day to rush home to sit in front of a computer w/high aspirations dreams and hopes and wishes to particpate in a lifelong dream with a 1 in 50 chance in a lifechanging experience crushed!!!

LIKE ME and others . Did I forget to mention Im the proud Mother of 5 and I do wish i well and all I say is GLITCH aint good enough for this situation............

OK, I apologize. You can see how I might think that you meant me because I'm a moderator here. Absolutely none of your comments would get you "kicked out of the forum". We welcome intelligent open discussion.

As for the Mother's Day plans, I think we all understand. We all arranged our plans for today to try to attain the dream. I, personally, will be emailing bodog support to try and get an answer as a player. I'm hoping that those in charge of freerolls here on PokerNews will be doing the same.

Good luck in the "rescheduled" tourney.

We reschedule the final WSOP tournament for the same day and time – it will be this Sunday at 7:05pm EST.

We will be issuing $10 in Tournament Credits to the 50 players that registered for last Sunday's tournament as an apology for the error in configuration.

We will be emailing all 128 players who qualified for the final tournament explaining the situation and inviting them to this Sunday's tournament.

As you all see, 50 players will get credit. There are many players that were qualified, so they will be able to register as well.

This was decided by pokernews and Bodog poker. Sorry for the inconvenience and Good Luck to all.
