The Orleans is also a decent hotel with a pretty good poker room. It's off the strip but is owned by the same company as the Gold Coast. This allows for a free shuttle to the Gold Coast then a short walk (across the street) to the Rio. However, it will be a cab ride back since the shuttles stop before play ends each day.

Also when cabbing it home, you can avoid the line in front of the Rio (all other players) if you walk over to the Gold Coast to catch a cab.
