The 1994 WSOP final was on May 9th. One of the annual meteor showers occurs May 4,5, and 6th. It is the eta Aquarid Meteor Shower. The brightest meteors are usually from 2 to 2:30 AM and continue until daybreak. These occur when Mother Earth passes through the tale of Halley's Comet.
