You didn't even name the best player...Esther Rossi. She's been the most solid producing tournament winner. Look at her stats. Compare those to the woman that play 30 tournaments a year.....anyone's bound to hit something...she is a selective tournament player and has high counts of consistantly coming in to the money.

If you've been following my daily blog reports from the WSOP you will find a profile on Ester Rossi a couple of days ago. There is no slight by not naming her in this article. Its simply not possible to list every single accomplished player in every single article. That is why I try to spread out the coverage each day or week to give credit to those who so deserve it.

I spotted Betty Carey at the WSOP this year, and spoke to her briefly. She declines interviews and lives very quietly enjoying poker when she can. While I agree Betty is a great and fantastic player, she has been absent from the tournament circuit and live play for years and years. Lets hope that with her recent trip back to the WSOP after a twenty year absence, the environment will inspire her to return.
