770 lets you put money on there site no problems but try to take it off and see what happens before they will release any money they want me to send them my full identity licence phone bills etc this could be used for identity fraud has anyone else had the same problem

Same here! When you want to deposit there is no problem but when you want YOUR (if you deposit 200E, lost some of them and want to cash out the last 100E) money back then the problem appears.

it is a security measure so they know its you taking their money
some sites will randomly ask you for the info
some sites require it at withdraw
some sites are not so interested in security
some of the info they ask for, they should have told u what to BLACK out
~depends on the site I guess.
have you tried emailing their support? if so, what is the reply

looks like they are one in the same, when looking at 770 poker site they have the crown image as poker.com has.
sewhog that isnt so bad is it?
some sites are not so interested in security
07-10-2008 10:20
Such security might look silly to some of you, but actually it is better to make sure that all payments are secure, than to be cheated and loose your own money.
We all can find cases when people loose their money due to too weak security of the poker room.

The real issue here is how powerless poker players are when it comes to dealing with poker sites if I give them a copy of my licence and phone bill they already have my neteller account number they now have 100 points that can be used for identity fraud would rasucci the moderator send me 100 points of your identity I think not
07-11-2008 01:54
Maybe it is too much, but as a moderator and person who is working in this field, I really would like that ID verification would be on every room and promotion. But it is only one ID that should be needed, not more. It is only my personal opinion.

you couldn't be any more wrong then with that comment
you have a choice to enter their site, download the program, install it, register, deposit.
did you bother to Google info about the site?
did you read the user agreement you agreed to ?
07-11-2008 15:03
I can go into any casino in the world and become a member I fill in the form show my identity or licence number (they don't keep a photocopy) this dose not make up 100 points of identity the only people I have to give 100 points of identity to is to open up a banks account or sociality security I have offered to send 770 a copy of a phone bill which has my address and name they have refused.
I still haven't received your 100 points of identity yet rasucci the moderator maybe it was lost in the mail
07-11-2008 15:58
surprising your cashing out, as your math is not very good.
they are asking for two ( 2 ) II pieces
but then again, you would know that if you read what u agreed to

They already have my. Name. Phone number. neteller account number and address. All they have to do is give me e ring.

I had the same problem with pokerstars re the same issue, after a lot of bad beats I deceided to take out the remaining $40 dollars or so and they asked for my drivers licence and passport.I told them it was OK to receive my money from my credit card, when they had all my details...name address etc...so why is it so hard to send me a cheque which I can only cash at a bank which has all my details.I can understand them wanting all that info if I asked for the cheque in another name to be sent to a different address, but why would they want all this extra info...I told them the same as someone else did.I am not comfortable giving someone in their office my private details with all the frauds that occur eveyday in offices, and how can I be sure that my identity isn t stolen. If they don t want that informaation when they gladly take your money(within one one hundreth of a millisecond)the moment you press the OK button why would they need it to give you your money.Especially for small amounts. The moderator said something about security....cmon these sites make approx $3million a day I m sure it wouldn t break them to pay out $40 if a mistake did occur
07-15-2008 09:43
i agree it would not kill them to pay for a 40$ error, but in all fairness to these sites, all buisnesses are designed to make money not pay for errors. I do Think however that these sites should be just as secure at recieving funds as they are to pay them out. I mean if it is their policy to make sure they are paying the correct people then they should be just as secure in taking funds from players. I think that if they are going to want any inforation to verify who a player is and such it should be requested at the time of registration for real money play, and at that time these sites should verify who a player is, that way when a player request a payout, they dont have to jump through hoops in order to recieve their payout.
07-20-2008 11:56
I prefer them verifying on cash out.
Think about it this way......nobody is going to steal your bankroll by DEPOSITING. But I'd rather the site know that it was paying out to ME....not somebody that somehow got my password. This would be especially true if any of my information had recently been changed.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

07-20-2008 15:49
not more then normal that they ask for identity.
i would like to see that all pokersites would do this.
but i would like them to ask for it before you open an account!!
because that would help to legalise poker on the internet
they dont want that because that might be an obstacle to dwnld the pokersite.
that is not fair.
07-21-2008 22:34
What would you know davega.I agree 100%with miiestro. If they can accept money from my credit card why the fk should they fk me around when I have deposited plenty into their site and they have made hundred off me from rake not to mention the players I have introduced to their site). They want to take money with the information provided.THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE TO PAYING ME IN THE SAME...END OF STORY YOU WHO GIVES A IF YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED EVERY WHICH WAY BY THESE UP SITES ITS YOUR PROBLEM,AS THEY AREN T GETTING ANY MORE FROM ME.I CAN T BELEIVE HOW MANY OF YOU JUST WANT TO BE SHEEP AND COMPLY WITH WHATEVER YOU ARE TOLD,NO WONDER YOUR GOVERNMENTS HAVE SUCH CONTROL OVER YOU.
