I've seen mostly dutch company names, or other well known tax heavens.

Davega I am going to quote you what you said (Maybe the sites could disperse funds only using the SAME method that was used to deposit). This is all we want identity in identity out simple problem solved.
I'll agree with this. The problem is, they are not using the same method paying out as the player did depositing. If they could and would rectify this, all of the identification would be unnecessary.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

I have never in my entire life seen such immature responses and personal attacks on a forum that is meant to bring a poker community together. By all means post your opinion but please take some time to think before you write. Rassuci you are a moderator and I understand there is no swearing / personal attacks allowed but dont write some threats telling people they better stop it? Either make a decision to ban or not to ban.
SewHog and Maximus the argument is clear, you download a site the TERMS and CONDITIONS are there for you to read and accept. Whether you like these or not at the end of the day you STILL chose to deposit and play?
As a South African it is pretty disturbing to see these kinds of threads and how easily everyone will try to use a country in Africa as a reference for something bad (see the reference to Botswana above)

Mr. JonStephenson, when I said "stop it" to a member of this forum, that was said by me, as a member of the forum, not as a moderator, because that guy made fun from my words.
My decision to ban members, are not spontaneous I always give them 2nd chance. First of all I just warn, second of all I see how they keep behaving.
Then comes the decision and action. I hope you got what I meant, Mr. JonStephenson.

1. All we are trying to do is use the same method (name phone number address and neteller or Master card account number) to cash out as we do to cash in. when internet poker sites take out a poker licence they also have to abide by terms and conditions. Here is some of what the Kahnawake gaming commission requires poker sites to abide by. Have a look at d. TREAT PLAYERS FAIRLY
(a) to provide a lawful basis for the regulation and control of
interactive gaming based in or offered from within the Territory
as a means of promoting and preserving economic
development, self-sufficiency and peace, order and good
government within the Territory;
(b) to ensure that interactive gaming is conducted responsibly,
fairly, honestly and in the best interests of Kahnawá:kero:non
and all other affected parties;
to ensure that adequate safeguards are established and
enforced to prevent interactive gaming from being associated in
any way with crime or criminality;
to ensure that the operators of interactive games treat players
fairly; that they pay winners promptly and that all information
related to player accounts is held in the strictest confidence; and
to protect persons under the age of eighteen (18) years and
other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited
I have changed my mind I trust Botswana and upper Mongolia a lot more than I do poker sites right now.

We are not here to put anybody down.The only thing that sewhog and myself were agreeing with is to get the point across for these sites to get all the info they need off us players before they accept our deposit and not to ask for extra info when it comes to withdrawing.Just to get all the details up front nothing else.To do as Jon says to read all the terms and conditions is basically impossible as most of these are the size of a novel.

i have been dealing with this for years and here is the deal. if they were really interested in security, they would send you reguire you to do this Before you deposited. but ofclourse they dont do that because then it would take a while to make your deposit and you might hesitate.
And some of the sites make it more complicated than that. the one i am dealing with now, poker host, reguire you to sign a form in which you have to check each deposit or sign off on each one. etc. but they keep find excuses for not sending me the form! The last one was they said they keep sending it but it wasnt showing up in my email, even thou they just sent me one the day before etc. and finally, they send it as an attachment except there is not an attachment!
not to mention that i dont have a printer -scanner and must go to a kinko etc to do this. And if you think this is an isolated horror story, you should know that i have had worse problems with other sites in the past. good luck to all and be for- warned

They need to CLEARLY post the cashout policy when you deposit. Then I wouldn't get as pissed off about it. It is is the contract. Screw the contract, I am sure you have read it (right). I understand the reasoning but let someone know before you take their money. Wait, what the hell am I talking about? Why would i tell someone before I get the money!

Well the problems with poker 770 dont stop at asking for ID.
I requested a cash out about a week ago. Sent the docs not a problem.
Yesterday I got a confirmation email telling me the withdrawal had been processed and was in my Neteller account. YAY.
But NAY.
In fact it had not been processed, Neteller declined the transfer from Poker 770. I spoke to Neteller, and they said the most common reason for this is that the merchant (poker 770) did not have the funds to honour the transaction.
This does not fill me with confidence.
I have emailed support but have recieved no reply. I have rang there telephone number (UK) and all I get is a recorded message.
Also the net is full of stories like this. There is a thread at 2+2 forums of those experiencing similar problems, one guy had to wait 3 months.
Do not deposit at this site.

Yep, they won't let me cashout either.
I deposited 20 dollars to be able to cashout.
They refused
Told me to deposit another 30 dollars.
I asked my 20 dollars back.
They refused telling me to deposit more money.
Same thing happened at Pitbull.
We all know how this site ended.
I'm not putting any more money in Poker770
