I am a longtime reader, I have read every column and enjoyed the great majority of them. My complaint would be that you are never critical and write too many puff pieces. The piece you wrote on Russ Hamilton really disturbed me. You wrote a two part piece praising him even though it has widely been known that he is a dirtbag. You say he was shy about how much he weighed when he got on the scale, but didn't menton that they had to force him to remove the ten punds of quarters from his pants. And then there's the UB scandal. Russ Hamilton stole millions from the online poker community. Write about it! It's a more important story than telling us Johnny Chan is a legend, we know he is.

agree with oakwalds3!!!
Sexton's were "saved" by the "poker boom" - Tom drove a cab and Mike was a "professional borrower" keeping himself broke gambling- (just because Mike Sexton or any other of the poker "stars" cashes in a tournament, doesn't mean they "own themselves" in that tournment.
Tom has a tendency to gloss over the facts about poker and make the poker world something it is not. Poker is full of thieves, liars, cheats, drunks, drug addicts who are out for themselves, many of whom have become "poker celebrities" thanks to being in the right spot or cashing in a tournament, at the right time.
