Poker After Dark is running a 4 person heads-up double elimination tourny. Did anyone happen to catch the first episode yesterday?

Surprise, Surprise but Hellmuth shows up during Ferguson and Wasicka's match and tries to steal the show. During an interview w/ delicious Leann Tweeden he hints at the idea that Ferguson may have been watching him play in order get some pointers. Are you serious Phil?

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

Hell-mouth stupifys me!...I can't believe the things that come out of his mouth! If it isn't all an act, I feel sorry for his wife. I did see the episode, and was hoping one of the players would pull a Hellmuth, and ask him to leave because of the distraction! lmao!!!

just that his personality could use some work.

I don't think we know about his real personnality. At work ( playing poker ) he is the Poker Brat, World champion, telling everybody around that he is better than everybody else, when he loses he complains about how horrible everybody played at the table etc etc. In the real life I ( we ) don t know. If I had to bet I would say he is really different ( at least that s the only explanation I have of wy he is still married )

As far as I m concern this is all about acting.

It's sooo not an act.

I'm pretty sure he's got a kind of functional poker autism...combined with a form of tourettes where you spout the innane babble causing you to sound off like the nerdy kid that gets beat up a lot in public school...think millhouse.. only LESS manly.

Well, poker brat or not, he's got 11bracelets and the number will just keep on rising. Probably just one of those conditions associated with geniuses I guess... In his case, it well documented since he's one of the weirder characters in the Poker scene and ESPN seems to catch him at the best times possible!

I just love the "I can Dodge Bullets Baby!" comment. Wahhahahahahaahaha... What an ass... I'll bet you he even thinks its cool... that's the best one yet...

Hey!, What's your best (dumbass) Hellmuth Line?
