Are there any bots in online poker?

Hi all, I started to play online poker at "PartyPoker", and i wanted to know if they allow people to run software to play as a human? because I don't think it's fair.

nah, just some analysis software is allowed by some bigger rooms. Any programs that would actually "play for you" are banned.
Most of biggest rooms are investing huge amounts of money to catch any possible fraud.
