Hi Guys,
I've decided to move my game from freerolls to cashgames.
I was wondering... which is better? Rooms that have Rakeback or Rooms that give Deposit Bonuses?
Also what's the merit of consideration for both?
Any Advice for me?

Rakeback, rakeback, rakeback. Here's the reasoning.
With deposit bonuses, you get the $$ up front but once you've earned your bonus, it's done. HOPEFULLY, you're not having to make that many additional deposits.
With rakeback, it's a smaller percentage than the deposit bonus but you can get it as long as you play the site. If you're planning on playing long-term (which most of us end up doing anyway), getting rakeback can supplement the natural fluctuations in your bankroll. You also won't feel any pressure to accumulate points to clear a bonus.
Other opinions?

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

I agree with Davega, and would choose rakeback offer for sure, moreover now you can get bonus as well with some poker rooms rakeback deals, like Full Tilt Poker. The only difference is that you will not get rakeback from playing from bonus money, but anyways, you will make deposit, so rakeback will be accumulating from the deposit money.

Rakeback...?
Isn't a bonus just a form of Rakeback? it's performance based..on your limit and volume of play....aren't these one in the same? Seems weird to me that sites would give BOTH. What do you have to do to deserve that kind of treatment.....other than play insanely high limits?

You can think it is the same, because if you want to withdraw bonus money, you will need to play a lot of hands. But what i meant to say, was that if you use bonus offer on the rake back deal - YOU WILL NEED TO CLEAR THE BONUS MONEY. So you will need to play a lot at first, before you will have bonus money as your real money. (I hope you all got what i meant to say..)

Isn't that the same for both bonus and rakeback really? Either way, for poker you need to play to get the $ (compared to casino where bonuses are up front).
Everyone usually says rakeback over bonuses, but if you have neverending bonuses (eg. ongame sites) that essentially give you your rake back, aren't they the same thing?
Vitoria are you non-US? If so, there are lots more sites available to you that aren't necessarily offering obvious rakeback as percentages.

all the bonus does is cancel out ur rb til its over. RAKEBACK- no question!

dosent really matter either way.
If you deposit 600 on ftp with a rakeback account, you clear the 600 and then you still get rakeback AFTER you have cleared the 600.
