In days of yore — 10-12 years ago — "buy-in" denoted the amount each player contributed to the prize pool (here, $2500) and "entry fee" the amount paid as a, er, fee to the venue running the event (here, $120). While that distinction has been largely lost, it isn't archaic, either, and in some cases its use would provide greater clarity.
