I dont necessarily believe this but its a theory of mine. Ive done well on some sites, and couldnt get going on others. I know different sites have different styles of play and I do adapt alittle. Anyway I was thinkin that you got a # (odd or even, white or black bean) when you signed up. From day one u r a winner or loser. Several times I tried a site a buddy recomended and could not win and visa versa. Any thoughts?

I've had the same thing, success on one site but not another. I don't think it's a rigging of the site but more of a personal preference between different sites. You'd really have to do a good hand analysis to determine if you're playing the same from site to site. When I reviewed my losing sessions, I'd spot losing hands and wonder what I could have been thinking to play the way that I did.

{a-Hearts}{a-Spades}Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.{a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

Well, what I have seen is that at the same level on different sites, people are playing differently. For example in web site a people are betting draws with power on the turn while on site b they will check their draws on the turn ( that is most of the time ). I think each site has its own "type of players" and you may do better against one kind of opponents then an other, and therefore, you might do better in one site than on an other.

I think it make sense if you consider all the "new" players not knowing a lot about poker and will play the game "the way they feel it" more then the way it should be played. natural tight player will not enjoy playing with agressive players and agressive players will be bored playing against very conservative player ( while they should try to take advantage of it but this is an other story ). This will of course be more true in lower game than higher game that you and I probably don t play anyway.
