I play poker in Casino 1/2$ nlh and online up to 0.25/0.50$ nlh. I play limit as well but this will be for an other day
While I can do pretty well in Casino playing basic skilled poker according to directions provided by reference book, I have to adjust a lot to not loose money on internet. If I sum up since day 1 I am in negative figure online but kind of "get it" now and am able to adjust to be a winner ( small though ) but the "style of plqy" is not really what I like.
What I d like to know is if online poker is crazy the same at 1/2$ or higher ( limit similar to what I play in casino ) or if it is the same than at 0.25/0.50$ where people largely bet there gut shot on the turn, slow play any big hands until the river to place a huge bet, play mainly pre-flop ( probably because they have no idea on what to do after ), no Bluff possible ( or close to be... ), everybody seems to hope for the biggest suck-up of poker history ( and they are close to it sometimes, what is fair enough as once in a while it has to happen, this is math ) etc. etc.
An important part of Poker to me is to be able to adjust to your opponent and this is why I rather like playing in a Casino than online ( you need to asjut to your opponent online as well but it s still not the same ) and am not really willing to go to higher limit. Maybe I will if it is the only way to "really" play poker.
I usually play on Fulltilt and sometimes on Pokerstars.

I play $1/$2 Limit on Stars and find there is a huge difference from $.50/$1. My experience tells me the higher the limit the more credible the game. My local B&M offers $3/$6 Limit and $2/$5 NLHE and these are wild and crazy games.

Pessimistic Optimism is the best I can muster.
