It's official!!! Duplicate poker folded today!

Nothing but a pack of thieves anyway!...(that felt good to say, lmao!!)

Several of my buddys/regulars and I have been speculating in the forum there for a couple of weeks now that it was starting to smell like they were going under.

Payouts to players, some in excess of $2K, had not been received a month after submitting a withdrawal request. (they had been running approx 10 day turnaround for payments)

Last month they cancelled a $140K live trny that some of us had qualified for. Qualifications had been running since the beginning of the year.

The biggest problem they had (other than support being a pack of lying thieves), was that with the format that they ran, it was hard for them to retain players. Format was seriously flawed...(I made a ton of cash there, but doesn't change the fact that the format drove away players) I dont think they ever had mor than 250players on site (on a good day) at any given time.

Buh Bye!!

I'm glad Duplicate is out of my life. I hated the game & support but did enjoy the easiness of winning there. I doubt that I will ever see my last payout requested way before they folded. Hopefully check from last month already deposit will stick and not bounce.

My main concern now is what position "Pokernews" is going to take envolving their previous 1K weekly freerolls. My cashout was directly related to winnings last month from them and feel Pokernews has some responsibilities in seeing payout is upheld.

I would appreciate your opinions on "Pokernews" responsibilties and or position taken in regards to payouts from their 1K freerolls promotions.

Good Riddance Duplicate!

I actually sent them a tongue in cheek email about that very subject. I also asked them if they were going to split the prize pool for this months $1K freerolls between all of those who had met the qualifications in place last month.

THEN I asked them if they were going to split the $140K that was guaranteed to the qualifiers of the year long promotion they were running, between all of us who had qualified.

They, as of yet, haven't responded to my email....

Go figure!! lmfao!!
