I was watching the WPT "grand prix de Paris" last week. If anyone saw the show, I m sure you asked yourself where was the usual final table set-up of the WPT tournament?

Maybe there was a sponsor issue or something but anyway, it wouldn t fit in the "aviation club de france"... Actually, they had a hard time finding a place to put Mike Sexton... As of today, this place is "z" place to play poker in France. It is located in Paris and looks completely different than any poker room you can find here in the US isn t it?

With Poker beginning to take of in France, Casinos ( more like we know them ) are becoming more focus on Poker and poker tournament and we even have our own poker tour with a 10 000 Euros main event in the french riviera ( PPT ).

You should check the website, it shows the place and it will look like a very strange place to play poker for most of us. www.aviationclubdefrance.com.

Anyway, it was just to say that this was kind of different for a WPT event, even the Bud was replaced by the champagne.
