I saw the game first hand and got some great footage of Peter's win. I posted it here - http://www.meetthefamous.com/photos-videos/details.php?story=2664

Demidov comes thrid in the WSOPE in London, then 2nd in the WSOP Main Event ... he must be fit to be tied. Mind you, the $5 million second place is not too shabby.

The lack of a live feed during the final table was a disgrace. There was an excellent live feed for the final table of the WSOPE in London, but ESPN did not provide it. With luck Harrahs will not give the WSOP to ESPN next year.

Very disapointed with ESPN coverage... Next year I ll follow the final table online. I feel they just don t get it, I know they try to interested everybody and not only the "poker player" but still, I think it was pretty bad.

I intentionally stayed away from the internet all day yesterday so I could watch the heads up. Since it started so late, I wasn't able to follow it on the live reporting. I thought this would be the best thing for me to do. All that for 2 televised hands of HU. I agree with you akamma.

Why is the coverage only 2 hours for such a huge event? We wait almost four months for the finish and you get 2 hours with 30-40 minutes of commercials. Why such a late start time?

money money money. Commercial are cheaper for the wsop than for a football game. ESPN doesn t care that much about poker, they are just trying to surf on a wave but as they failed to interest regular viewers and failur to provide interest from poker player, this is probably the first and last time we see that type of show.

Idea was good, but I think it is clearly a miss.

On defense of ESPN i think they tried to create something by bradcating other events on Tuesdays but it missed...

I am just glad I had to translate the live reporting and wasnt off to (not) watch it.

Last year there was a nice coverage with phil gordon on the mike. This year it was audio only with gary wise.
