Online Poker in the US is dead, has been dead, and one can not "buy in", much less, cash out!
On Line Poker is not worth the hassle! (not to mention it is too easy to cheat)
Didn't Howard sell out to Ivey? (or sell a large portion)Maybe Howard knew when to get out!

You can both buy-in and cash out from Poker Stars and always have been able to. For a while it was a bit of a hassle to get money online, but never a hassle to get money off. You can get money online in less than a minute, now. Hardly a hassle.
I don't cheat, I do make money. I don't think this law is going to impact the individual player anywhere near as much as the "send us more money now or the sky will fall" PPA wants us to think.

why do you even bother reading this stuff if you have these opinions? why dont you leave internet poker alone and go rain on somebody else's parade?
you need a hug.

Being against online poker or against tournament poker doesn't mean that MtMike is against poker itself. He has the right to his opinion and has the right to express it as he does from time to time. PokerNews serves all forms of poker so everyone is welcome.

Just another KITNs. You'll get used to them.

if it sounded like i was trying to silence him i am sorry. i meant to give him some sh*t about his negative responses to everything. perhaps i should have been a little more tactful in my response. so here we go...
1. online poker in the US is NOT dead. i still play everyday as do most people on this site.
2. online poker in the US has NOT been dead. i have played online poker for 4 years now. BOTH before and after UIGEA.
3. i just placed a "buy-in" on PokerStars two weeks ago. so apparently a US player can "buy-in."
4. a little over a month ago i won an MTT on Full Tilt Poker. the next day i requested a "cash out." a week and a half later i found a check in the mail for the exact amount i requested on my "cash out."
5. i can turn on my computer and play a cash game in about 3 minutes. i think that is about as hassle free as it comes. correct me if i am wrong.
6. have you ever cheated an online site and made a large sum of money? no? must not be that easy.
you are free to give your opinions just as i am free to bash them. normally i would just let something like this go but i don't enjoy the negativity in everything you post. so i will continue call out your misguided judgements until you relax a little.

gooday.
