I visited this room after reading the review just to pass some time and because the site said that they have a $30 sunday tournament. The tournament drew a little less than 3 tables. The poker room itself is a 3 table room thats in a sun room for lack of better description. The cards are jumbo index cards which are a help for older players.
For those of you that frequented the Bicycle club, the Fandango is where Ruben went to for his retirement. He served over 20 years at the Bike and is now the poker room manager at the Fandango. He likes it because the pace is a lot slower.
The players at this casino are mostly regulars and friends. This is not a serious players room. Other than myself and one woman, everyone knew everyone.
The dealers are a somewhat mixed bag but one had been fired recently for abusing a player. Yes, you read that right. The dealer was fired for abuse.
This is a holdem only shop. They have Omaha listed but it hasnt went off since April. The dealer actually told me the specific date off the top of her head.
I liked this room for the most part, but if you go, only go there expecting to have a little fun. For those of you that know Ruben, go by and say hi.
