Read Before You Ask About PokerNews Freerolls

In response to the multiple questions that come up regularly about PokerNews' Freerolls, I'm posting this guide. Please read this BEFORE you post a question that this already answers.

1. Each PokerNews freeroll or tournament has certain qualifications that must be met in order for you to be allowed to play in it. Please visit this page to see if you've met the qualifications. http://www.pokernews.com/freeroll-tournaments/ If the freeroll that you're interested in isn't listed there, it is probably another PokerNews site that is sponsoring it such as the Dutch PokerNews site. Look in the top right corner of the page for links to other language and other PokerNews sites.

2. Most of these tournies require that you have downloaded the poker site using PokerNews's links and created a NEW account. This means if you already have an account on that site, you're out of luck. Don't worry. There will be other freerolls on other sites.

3. If you feel that you've met all of the qualifications and still can't register, email freerolls@pokernews.com for the quickest and best response.

4. Lastly, I personally have nothing to do with the freerolls. PMing me won't get you any results other than me telling you to do #3.

I'm not trying to be an ass. These are pretty simple guidelines to follow to see if you qualify or can qualify for a PokerNews freeroll. I have the same problem of already downloading many sites in my pre-PokerNews ignorance. I feel your pain.

Thanks Davega for this post, you are great.

I would like to add something from me, as PokerNews staff.

2. Most of these tournies require that you have downloaded the poker site using PokerNews's links and created a NEW account. This means if you already have an account on that site, you're out of luck. Don't worry. There will be other freerolls on other sites.
Not only new players or new accounts - existing players can enter if THEIR ACCOUNT (on the poker room, not THIS FORUM) IS CREATED VIA POKERNEWS.

As Davega said, do not PM him PM me better, or as I always mention - freerolls@pokernews.com. Your email will be replied within 24 hours.
WEEKENDS ARE NOT SUPPORTED LIVE. So if you face any problem with freeroll which take place on weekend - make sure you email us before it.

The last thing - if player is not sure if his account was created via pokernews, simply ask poker rooms support if you are affiliate players of pokernews or not.
Only when you are 100% sure you belong to pokernews players, email us with your problem.

OMG, someone actually read it! Congrats Josh, I think you are the first! Based on that, I will never play you at the table because you seem to have common sense!

Welcome though!

am newly join this site. I think this type of site all educated and business people more then using. So i think this type of site join the interest people 60% in worldwide. Am I the only one here who enjoys a little bit of poker? Although I wonder if I'll become addicted and lose my shirt. Well probably not it isn't strip poker after all.

Thanks to explain all this.

Though it still is a bit strange that a big site as pokernews does not have support in the weekends.
Especially when there are a lot of freerolls in the weekend.
As i am (like almost all the pokerplayers) lazy i just find out i cant enter a tournament and due to no support in the weekend, again i miss a great pokernews freeroll sad.

That is really sad but i try to cheer me up with the thoughts that there will be plenty more great/big/nice freerolls form pokernews.

I hope i can represent once more pokernews at a big tournament.
I'm aiming on the Wsop.

Kind regards,

What is the…difference between prayer in a church and at the poker table?

At the poker table, you really mean it.
