if this article was about luck boxing your way through the world series and it looking like superb play because you are a live pro then the hand would make sense.
with that said, this article does bring up an important point. sometimes letting someone think they are in charge of the game is the best way to give them enough rope.
this concept works in reverse as well. sometimes being a bully at the table makes everyone think you are playing garbage and when you do hit people will call you light. this article may over complicate that idea though.
What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.
