This is without a doubt the dumbest article to come out of PokerNews in a while. Where do you get that Negreanu is on a downswing? His tournament results and playing results have been excellent.

I would have to agree with flintsword, this article could probably compete with "The Poker Shrink, Vol. 45: The Premack Principle" from few days ago...

basically this guy writes a standard gossip piece every week, in Dutch the humor is easier to detect.

.... Words fail me when reading stuff like this from a more or less grown up man. Either learn to type faster or don't chat at all. Can't be that difficult to type actual words.
Regarding Daniel, I'm pretty sure he's not broke.

The article said, "Barry Greenstein, who is also pretty bust..."
I'm sure that this would be news to Barry.

Daniel and Barry down on money? A shocker to me, but i believe you. The nature of the beast is up and down, up and down.

until this writer is fired and a retraction is posted, i'm done with this website. this is the most unsubstantiated load of crap i've ever read. whoever is editor now should clearly be canned.

I just found out in this article that I am busted. Does anyone proofread these articles? I admit that my real estate and stock holdings have dipped under 10 million but to some people that is real money.
I have still been playing in the biggest games in the room. Tell my staker I'm doing OK. Is this slander due to the fact that you don't want people to know that PokerRoad is gaining ground although still costing me money. As long as PokerRoad is still alive, you can assume that I can afford the bills.

Hansentv is awesome! thnx frank!
Oh and if you're not familiar with the articles: he's not called webjoker for nothing
About FTP raising the min BI: "the good shorties will find a way even if it means they just buy in full and dump 80% of their stack"
"You're supposed to get almost 50-50 on roulette flips, but out of the 100+ 4- and 5-figure flips I've done, I've hit probably around three. I always bet on black...

Uh huh .. So which part of this article is supposed to be funny? I'm having a hard time finding the jokes.

Here's a fact about Daniel.
We, the members of Pokervt, complained that there were too many high limit videos and demanded micro stakes videos from him. He showed that he had no poker ego and is doing this for his members, even though he knew there would be people scream he was broke.
I also did very well with his Pokervt system and told him that I would like to buy him in to a WSOP event as a thank you. He was grateful but declined. Would a broke player turn down free entries?
Get your facts straight before you spread false information.

sick brag.
uh, yeah. 2nd what sketchy said. This is the most asinine piece of crap that I have ever seen on a poker website.
I mean, if it's supposed to be a parody or whatever, at least pick on somebody that you could even remotely make evidence against, not somebody who just shipped a quarter million loonies, has a huge deal with stars etc.
Try somebody like Barry instead I heard he's lost his ass in the real estate and financial markets these last few months.
gg pokernews.

There's no room for an article like this for a website that calls itself "The #1 Source for Poker News." There's a difference between humor and cynicism; this clearly falls into the latter category. In fact, I find the entire piece entirely without humor.
I was a frequent visitor (and even proponent) of this site, but if articles like this keep popping up in the main bucket, I doubt I'll be back.

I think we should all forget about this really bad article and just hope PN will be able to provide us in the future with material that make more sense ( as it usually does ).

You're welcome to do what you'd like. How I forget about really bad articles is by skipping the site.
Poker "News" is close to having that happen for me.

I have always been a avid reader of pokernews but this is it for me. My first article to comment on is my last article I'll be reading here.

I'm fairly certain this is not the real Barry G.
Nice try, though.

Ok the part with "broke" players is bad but so whatever... is it the world over? lol
You act like children!
"i'm done with this website" --- WTF?!?!? So you just forgot all the great articles here and now you'll never visit the website? Come on!
And don't you see the word GOSSIP?
Don't get mad that you lost, get mad because you didn't win.
