Okay, so I am starting to notice something about my play. I have several states of mind, just like everyone else. Bored, Stressed, Tired...etc. I can't really change these moods, but, I am starting to try and correlate this to my poker play and when I play best.
For example, I have found that when I am bored, I do the worst. When stressed, I actually do pretty good. Unfortunately, since I can't regulate my mood, I am just trying to adjust my play and limits accordingly.
Does anyone else pay attention to this and if so what have you noticed in your own play and what adjustments have you made?
There is never a wrong mistake as long as you learn the first time!

Thats a hard one to answer. i just play when im in winning frame of mind. umm the moods like getting tired well some people got to learn to be insomniacs or maybe its just gift a person has but in my play if im stressed or bored i'll usually will sit out and get my head back on my shoulders and get back in the game. And if ur bored like u say u play ur worst make it fun do something if ur on the felt start talking to people, if ur online go surf the web listen to music, watch tv, thats what i do, hope this is good advice for you trying to help out the local poker friends on pokernews so good luck
I never slow play I play hard ball A{d}A{h}

Well, I only play if I feel like it so the "mood" thing is not really something I struggle with. If I play and start to feel that I get bored or stressed or anything I have no problem to stop ( unless I m on a big ol tilt but that s something else ).
Exemple, lest week, I sat down 30 minutes at a table, didn t feel a lot of pleasure playing, i stopped right away... no problem to me, after all, that s not my job so I play only if i enjoy it.

I honestly would say that moods have a direct cooralation to weither or not you win or lose.
The worst state of mind is the loser state of mind. When I go into a game with low confidance I can be assured that I will leave feeling the same way.

This is why the 15-20 min before a session (Pre Game Routine) is crucial to creating the right state of mind. This is one of the most important aspect to getting my clients bringing their A game to the sessions on a more consistent basis, which leads to $$$$$ at the end of the month

I think everyone goes through different moods while playing. I would also agree that it can affect your play. If your feeling bored or distracted your likely to not pay attention like you should causing you to miss things you should have been able to pick up and use to your advantage. I can definitely see my moods affecting my play. Whenever I'm on a losing streak I get frustrated and have to keep from trying too hard to make a win happen as it usually causes me to lose more.

I know what you mean. The game is not going to go that well for me if I am not in the right mood, but I usually don't feel up to playing unless I am in the mood. I'm not going to play if I'm mad or tired.
