This is not an official PokerNews statement. This is a common sense statement from me.

Apparently there has been some mix up with this tournament and tickets were not issued. Personally, I don't know where the breakdown happened but since Stars runs the tournament, I'd think there. I'm sure that everything will be done to fix this so that it doesn't happen again for the other PN freerolls on Stars.

will we be issued tickets for next month tourneys instead?

Honestly, I don't know. The freerolls department will take a look at it Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I also talked to Gedas and he is not sure whats up. I got this in my email and I'm with you davega:

We have not yet been able to credit these tickets, and this is also the
reason there are currently no registered players in the PokerNews $2,000
Cash Freeroll (T# 138461969).
I apologize for the inconvenience, and while it is not likely we will be
able to resolve this today, we will be looking for a resolution. Once one
is available, we will contact you.
My apologies for the inconvenience, and let me know if there is anything
else I can assist you with.

Let me clear one thing about Stars - they have new policy of support, and no longer provide us (PokerNews support team) information about our players accounts. So all inquires associated with PokerNews freeroll should be sent to affiliates@pokerstars.com and you will get answer much faster than sending email through us.
I just want to help you guys get answers as soon as possible, if you get a reply which says "We have no information" - then let us know ASAP. We will do our best to figure that out.

If you have met the qualifications, you'd have to go through freerolls@pokernews.com. They do not work on the weekends so tomorrow's tourney is impossible.

uhm, I would guess, read the requirements 1st and then if you meet them and don't have your ticket when they tell you that you will have it, you might want to try... freerolls@pokernews.com However, that is just a wild guess by me since I have never seen this email before!

id be willing to bet that pokernews freeroll department doesn't work on the weekends. so you are probably screwed if you haven't emailed yet.

but thats just a guess because nobody has ever had a problem with a freeroll before, weird.
