Finishing second at WSOP ME in 1976, heads-up against Brunson and holding AJ on a AJ2 flop and losing to Brunson's famous runner-runner full house - this is not the only thing Jesse should be remembered for, he is also the one player who have hit the WSOP Main Event Final Table more than anybody else: 1975, 1976, 1978, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1988!!
Jesse was a highly shrewd Texas road gambler, often underestimated by his opponents for his well-calculated "madness" and tilt, too bad he died way too soon and especially too soon for the Poker TV age.
