Durrrr going broke - it is just a matter of when - this match will end up being "credit" - without Guy donating, a lot of these "genius's" will have a problem maintaing their roll.

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire.

10% of hands played now, +50k for durrrr, could go either way.

MtMike, you seriously don't understand who durrrr is huh?
"he is only around for a short time"
Yeah, and in that short time, he has probably played the amount of hands Brunson played in his entire life!

I need a girlfriend who loves me for my money... and is pretty bad with math.

It is not about being a good or great player, it is about proper money management. Doyle has been broke several times, but always had a loan/backer available. Durrr may not have the same when he wakes up empty - and Durrr will wake up empty.

Helmuth has always had backers in tournaments, never on his own. Durr may be good, but it appears he has a suicide wish with his monies.

Maybe Durrrrrrrr has a heck of a lot more than we know. He may have an account with $100million in it and is playing by acceptable money management rules. Who knows.

there are hundreds of players out there that would love to take a slice of durrr's action.

I seriously doubt that. The pro's with that kind of money don't make it by playing cash game. They own shares of the big sites, have huge sponsorships, publish books, etc.

Except for a couple TV appearances, I don't think he's done any of this kind of work. Is Tom Dwan affiliated with any of the major poker networks?

No, there are several reasons why you will hear from different places. I tend to think he just hasn't seen an offer big enough yet.

I think the US government bailouts couldn't buy an ego as big as his. But, I hope he wins this bet! LOL

#1 reason good poker players go broke = playing too high for their bankroll = lacking money management skills
