Cancelled because they set a minimum of 50 players. There were only 39 registered so they cancel the thing. What a GYP.
Pokernews advertise this promotion, so we deposit and play, and then they screw us over like this. Some of us may not be able to play on whatever date they replay it, if they do.
*** is wrong with these people.

Well, I think they should be refunded a % of the rake from all the games they used to qualify. After all, isn't this why people play to get these free rolls.
Frenchie, How about this as an example...
1. I say, "If you buy a house from me (which I make commission off of) I will pay your entry into a WSOP tournament"
2. You buy the house through me
3. I say, "I don't want to pay your entry anymore"...wouldn't you be pissed?

its more like:
I sell a house with commission to people, and every person that buys it enters a lottery where I give a WSOP ME entry. but only if the total commission covers the cost of the ticket.
not enough people buy a house
no deal.

The you must refund the commission! That simple. You made a promise, couldn't keep your end of the bargain, so you refund me. Why should I be harmed because you couldn't carry through your end of the bargain? Either this or give something of equal value. I think it is the only respectable thing for a company to do.

which they probably will, giving these players a ticket to a later freeroll, when probably more people will have fullfilled the requirements.
remember, they give the players a FREEroll ticket.

As long as it is not contigent upon a certain date. Being that I don't play these, I have no clue. But, I do believe that they have a right to get a little irritated about it. (What happens if they never get a field of 50 though?????)
H. yes, unfortunately I cannot play poker, I am well hated by a couple managers in the softball league because I uprated several of their players (which means they can't play on the given team anymore) and I am hungry for my steak and wine tonight! Soo, boredom is ample here!
