Looking for long SNG

Hi,
I'm looking for a poker room that have long SNG tournaments with a buy in of 2-3$.
I've checked almost every existing room: pokerStars, fullTilt and all the other big names, and they all offer SNG with blinds that increase in about 5-10 minutes, i consider it very quick and the luck factor is huge (sorry for the bad english, don't really know how to say it). Anyway isn't there poker rooms that have SNG with like 15-20 minutes between each level and small increase of the blind each time?

you aren't going to find long blind levels too often for such a low buy-in. it doesn't make sense for the site.

also, you are over-estimating the "luck factor" involved in these tournaments. if you were to read up on an SNG strategy and really work on it, you will find that it is possible to gain a HUGE advantage over the field.

there are professional poker players that play turbo SNGs for a living. the blind structures in those are only 5 minutes. the blind structure doesn't necessarily determine the amount of "luck" involved in winning consistently. you just have to change your approach to the game.

goodluck.

What Vic Means is that you should read the poker tournament formula by Arnold Snyder

or just read the SNG strategy in Scott Fischman's book Online Ace. Or go to 2+2 forums and read anything pertaining to ICM math.

luck factor is indeed bigger in sng's, which actually just means that the variance will be bigger and your winnings won't be as big per game. The faster play allows you to play more games, so your hourly rate might be higher than on normal speed sng's.

@akamma, I wouldn't recommend Snyder's book for low limit sng's, the players there are way too loose, live low limit tourneys are much tighter and passive, which is where his style of play fits better.

Interesting about not following Snyder: trying to steal the blinds certainly seems like a major leak, probably because of loose players. Likewise attempting to buy the button.

BTW, I've never found any satisfactory treatment of ICM. Recommendations anyone?
